STIX BONES and The BONE Squad Launches Live Performance At The Cutting Room NYC.
Brooklyn native Franklin "Stix Bones" Brown teams up with the Bone Squad—Al Brisbane on Bass, Densen Meighstro Curwen on Keys, Sean Taylor on Trumpet, Bob Beamon on Percussion, Melvin Smith on Tenor Sax, and Steven Brown on Guitar—for a fantastic performance at the Cutting Room NYC. STIX BONES started his career beating the skins for the likes of Jessica CARE Moore (Poet, Lyricist Lounge, Rahzel, The Godfather of Noize(The Roots), and DJ Maseo(De La Soul).
Stix earned his bachelor's degree in music at Purchase College in NY. Stix became the drummer for the internationally known group Soulfege. Lead by former Oprah Winfrey XM Sirius host Derrick N. Ashong. Stix has had the privilege to record two award-winning albums with Soulfege. Stix, known for drumming among artists, dipped into his pot of creativity, producing projects in smooth jazz and soulful house music heard on DJ radio shows, mix tapes, and streaming playlists.
