Samuel Archer Introduces N3CTAR: The First Wave of Wuk Up Riddim 3
Featuring Anslem Douglas, Roger George, Petal Anderson and Orin Richards, A New Chapter in Caribbean Music Arrives for Miami Carnival Weekend
ORLANDO, FL: Caribbean music producer, arranger, and composer Samuel Archer announces N3CTAR: The First Wave, the opening release from the third installment of his Wuk Up Riddim Project, coinciding with Miami Carnival 2026.
Featuring four accomplished Caribbean recording artists, Anslem Douglas, Roger George, Petal Anderson, and Orin Richards, N3CTAR continues the musical tradition of the Wuk Up series, blending infectious Caribbean rhythms, melodic arrangements, and the individual vocal styles of its featured performers.
The Wuk Up Riddim Project, founded by Archer for Tobago Carnival 2024, has featured an expanding roster of Caribbean artists and original soca recordings. Its first volume introduced the J'ouvert, Genesis, and Evening Edition riddims, followed by Volume Two releases including Yolanda's Fumble, Orin Richards' No Stupid Man, and Roger George's Karnival.
N3CTAR: The First Wave brings together an impressive lineup of Caribbean talent:
Anslem Douglas: An internationally recognized singer and songwriter best known for composing "Doggie," later popularized worldwide as "Who Let the Dogs Out."
Roger George: Three-time Junior Calypso Monarch and accomplished vocalist whose career includes performances with Machel Montano's Xtatik and Byron Lee and the Dragonaires.
Petal Anderson: Award-winning Junior Calypso performer, former frontline vocalist for Eclipse International Band, and recording artist known for "Sweetness On De Road".
Orin Richards: Singer, songwriter, and returning Wuk Up Riddim collaborator whose recordings include No Stupid Man.
The N3CTAR announcement arrives as Caribbean music enthusiasts gather in South Florida for Miami Carnival celebrations. The musical journey continues through Tobago Carnival, Thanksgiving, and Trinidad Carnival 2027.
