Sammy Cokas Holds the Crown as Muzilog Rising Heat 30 Welcomes a New Wave

Muzilog Rising Heat 30 | September 2026
The latest Muzilog Rising Heat 30 is in, and while Sammy Cokas continues to hold firm at the top, movement throughout the chart reveals an increasingly competitive field as familiar names regain momentum and a new group of artists begins to break through.
Based on Tuesday-through-Friday airplay on Muzilog Muzik Radio, the Rising Heat 30 follows records building and maintaining momentum across the station while providing a pathway for developing songs to move into stronger chart territory.
For another reporting cycle, Sammy Cokas holds the #1 position with “Lipstick On My Shirt.” The record continues its impressive run at the top, holding off a field that is beginning to close in behind it.
Ny’a remains at #2 with “More,” maintaining the position after climbing from #6 during the previous reporting period. The record’s continued strength has established it as one of the most consistent performers currently on Rising Heat.
One of the biggest rebounds belongs to SHVŃ, whose “LIVE WITHOUT” surges six positions from #9 to #3. The record previously occupied the top position on Rising Heat, and its return to the upper tier shows that its chart story is far from finished.
Dee Lucas’ “Never Go Away” holds at #4, while 704 x Anthony Hamilton’s “Slide” moves up one position to #5. Bonita Jalane’s “So High” follows at #6, keeping the upper portion of the chart highly competitive.
Castella Continues Her Climb
One of the records worth watching closely is Castella’s “I’m In You.”
After entering Rising Heat at #12 during the previous reporting period, the song moves four positions to #8, continuing an impressive climb after joining Muzilog’s rotation in late August.
Its relatively quick progression has established “I’m In You” as one of the stronger newer additions to the station and a record to watch as the next reporting cycle develops.
Another significant mover is Ced N’ Juene with “Grace.” After sitting at #18, the record jumps eight positions to #10, giving Ced N’ Juene one of the largest gains on this edition of Rising Heat.
Shawney Rainne’s “Daddy Issues Remix” also makes a strong recovery, climbing from #17 to #11, while Chrisette Michele’s “Flower Mamma” advances from #16 to #12.
Elsewhere, Apropos’ “10th Floor” moves from #23 to #18, and Kierra Sheard’s “Shine” rebounds seven positions from #30 to #23.
Familiar Names Find Their Way Back
This edition of Rising Heat also welcomes the return of two records with previous chart history.
Lyriqé returns with “Alright” at #25. The record previously appeared on Rising Heat before dropping from the following chart, making its latest appearance an official re-entry.
At #26, Dasia Gorbea’s “Hindsight” also returns to Rising Heat. “Hindsight” previously reached #18 earlier in the year, then left the Top 30.
Their return illustrates another part of the Rising Heat story: falling from the chart doesn't necessarily mean a record's journey is finished. Renewed activity can put a song back into contention.
Jrome Andre Makes His Rising Heat Debut
Among the notable developments on the new chart is the arrival of Jrome Andre with “Still [New Frontier Country Dance].”
The record makes its Rising Heat debut at #29 after developing a consistent presence in Muzilog Muzik Radio programming.
Unlike records that arrive with an immediate surge, “Still” has taken a more gradual route. Its continued presence over successive reporting weeks has allowed the record to build its way into Rising Heat, giving Jrome Andre his first appearance on the chart.
The debut also demonstrates the role Rising Heat plays within Muzilog's broader chart system. Developing records have an opportunity to establish themselves over time, with consistency and momentum creating a pathway toward the Top 30.
Shaila Prospere’s “That Thing,” Joe Taylor’s “Melba,” and Adam Hawley featuring Jeff Ryan’s “Power Move” also make their Rising Heat debuts, bringing additional energy to this edition of the chart.
The Race at the Top Is Getting Interesting
Although Sammy Cokas remains firmly positioned at #1, the movement underneath “Lipstick On My Shirt” is becoming increasingly interesting.
Ny’a continues to hold at #2, while SHVŃ has worked “LIVE WITHOUT” back into the Top 3. Dee Lucas remains steady at #4, and records from 704 x Anthony Hamilton, Bonita Jalane, Trizzyy T and Castella round out a strong group immediately behind the leaders.
Further down, major upward movement from Ced N’ Juene, Shawney Rainne and Kierra Sheard suggests that the next reporting period could bring another round of significant changes.
Meanwhile, the arrival of new entries and returning records is creating competition near the bottom of the Top 30, where maintaining a chart position can be just as challenging as climbing toward the top.
Some records arrive quickly. Others develop gradually. Some fall away, while others find their way back.
That movement is what continues to shape the Muzilog Rising Heat 30.
For now, however, one thing hasn't changed:
Sammy Cokas and “Lipstick On My Shirt” remain #1.
