Jane Eugene — the iconic lead singer of the chart-topping R&B group Loose Ends — has been unjustly detained by ICE since May 3, 2025. As a result, she is facing serious health and legal challenges. A fundraiser has been launched to support her legal defense and immediate needs:
👉 GoFundMe: Support Jane Eugene’s Legal Fight
Jane’s physical and emotional health is rapidly declining under the harsh conditions of detention. She’s been unable to work or earn an income for months and faces an uncertain future without our help.
This GoFundMe was created to:
Cover critical legal fees for her defense.
Ensure access to proper medical care while in custody.
Prepare for a possible bond release.
Assist with basic living expenses during this crisis.
Jane is eligible under Section 245(i) of the Immigration and Nationality Act — a provision that allows individuals who applied for a green card before 2001 to adjust their status without leaving the U.S., even if they’ve overstayed a visa. She is grandfathered under this law and has every right to fight for her legal status.
Jane has called America home for many years. She loves this country and is committed to pursuing every legal remedy available to remain here.
To those who know her personally, Jane is more than an R&B legend. She’s a deeply compassionate, generous soul who has consistently uplifted others, from mentoring emerging artists to championing causes in underserved communities. Through her music and her heart, she has touched millions worldwide.
Now, it’s our turn to show up for her.
Please donate, share, and stand in solidarity with Jane Eugene as she fights for justice and freedom.
