Beth Hubbard: Depresso Martini

Beth Hubbard is one of the UK’s most exciting emerging singer-songwriters, celebrated for her rich, powerful vocals and emotionally honest songwriting. Often compared to Hayley Williams and Alanis Morissette, she fuses the raw edge of alternative rock with sharp, modern pop sensibilities, drawing inspiration from artists such as Paramore, HAIM, Chappell Roan, YUNGBLUD, and Orla Gartland.

Hailing from East Yorkshire, Beth began playing guitar at just 10 years old. By 15, she was already a familiar face on the local music scene, performing original material and distinctive covers at venues and on live radio across the region. Her striking voice, confident stage presence, and lyrical depth quickly set her apart as a rising talent.

Beth’s sound blends punchy indie-rock with polished pop production, creating a dynamic backdrop for lyrics that are both deeply personal and socially aware. Her debut EP Sapphic (2020), produced by Strange Reality Music Productions, drew critical attention for its bold sonic identity and heartfelt storytelling.

Following the success of her debut single “Nothing New,” released with Bog Condo Records and amassing over 30,000 YouTube views, airplay across 25 Canadian radio stations, and a sold-out launch show — Beth now returns with her highly anticipated follow-up, “Depresso Martini.” Set for release on April 18, the track promises another emotionally charged, sapphic pop moment, with fans eagerly awaiting this compelling next chapter.
