Philly native and soul songstress, Nadira Norjahan announces performance dates for the month of March 2019. Here are the following events: March 8 - Charley B’s (6402 Stenton Ave Phila PA) 7p-11p w/“4 AM” featuring Nadira Norjahan (the Voice), Benny Barksdale Jr (the Reeds), Timothy Vaughan (the Traps), Ebo (the Skins) & Derrick Baldwin (the Keys) March 20 - The Delaware Music Network presents The Open Mic Jam Session. A monthly Open Mic and Jam Session to showcase regional artists in the Mid Atlantic (New York City to D.C) This is an all-genre event. Everyone will be allowed to get on the mic. (Musicians Bring your instruments). Feature performance by Danja Danja, Aniya Jazz, NADIRA NORJAHAN and headliner Frontline Muzik. Hosted by Nadira Norjahan. There will be a live band and a DJ. Short Bio:

NADIRA is a Soul Singer, Songwriter, and Poet presenting her brand of music to the world. Soul, jazz, blues, and inspirational music are the main genres for this powered high-energy soprano vocalist. Songwriting and poetry are where NADIRA brings the story of real-life experiences to the forefront so that music and poetry lovers can’t help but relate to the pains, the joys and feeling her message. NADIRA knew from an early age that she wanted to be a singer. She sang in various choirs, took part in talent events (church, high school and local) and performed her poetry, developing her skills, stage presence and vocal delivery over several years. Her influences – Whitney Houston, Jill Scott, India Arie, and Stevie Wonder. NADIRA is energetic and gives dynamic performances whenever she takes the stage. In 2014 NADIRA penned and released a two-song project entitled "Double A-Side" which included singles "SOUL ON FIRE" and "Nobody's Woman." In 2015 she followed up with another two-song project titled "Double A-Side II" which included singles "Don't Take Your Love From Me" and "Ya Sexy! Get Down!". On May 13, 2016, NADIRA released her debut release, LOVE, PAIN & REDEMPTION. The production and musicianship of the album are credited to SAMUEL ARCHER [B2K, 112, Courtney Fadlin, Lovener Walcott] who met NADIRA in 2013 and since then collaborated with NADIRA to produce the Double A-Side projects, and a documentary. Musicians featured on the album are - Benny Barksdale Jr. on Saxophone, Ian Chance on Bass and Rod Harris on acoustic/electric guitars. JON EVANS is credited as the mix engineer. The album contains thirteen songs and three spoken word interludes, a total of sixteen cuts. The single "Comfort" has been a successful highlight of this album on music players around the globe and a music video for the song is available on YouTube. The video was produced and directed by AFF MARSHALL (NY). In 2017 NADIRA was featured on Producer STIX BONES' (NY) single "Mesmerized by Your Love." NADIRA penned and performed on this track, and SAMUEL ARCHER produced a remix of the project. NADIRA'S upcoming book, LEGACY OF LOVE, Eartha's Seed will be released in 2019 and will be accompanied by a BOOK SOUNDTRACK, Produced by Samuel Archer and Engineered by Jon Evans of Jonwerx.
