Grammy Award Winning Musician, Producer, Arranger and Composer - Sim Stevenson, Set to Release New EP - 2/26/2017 “Finally,” is the new project from Grammy Award Winner, Sim Stevenson. It’s a four song release of contemporary cool jazz arrangements, exploring a wide range of jazz sub genres. Sim Stevenson is primarily known for playing the Keyboards [piano, synthesizers, hammond organ, etc], however, he also play drums, bass, guitar and arranging and producing. He has worked with the likes of Quincy Jones, Michael Buble’, Naturally 7, Roger Thomas, Jarrett Johnson and Kevin Deane. He served as Music Director on tour for JOE and Tony Toni Tone. As Radio One’s Gospel Jazz House Band Director for a nationwide show he directed and performed with Ken Ford, Avery Sunshine, Gerald Veasley and more. On “Finally,” Sim invited a few friends to be a part of the project, with Arnold Irving and Joel Powell on bass, John Henry on drums, Steve Lake on guitar, Melvin Jones Jr on Trumpet, Mike Jones and Mike Burton on saxophone and Sammy Williams contributing additional keys.
