April 16, 2016 - Bear, DE - On the heels of her previous releases, “Double A Side,” and “Double A Side II,” Nadira Norjahan prepares to release her long awaited full-length album release titled “Love, Pain & Redemption.” The expected release date is May 13th 2016. The album displays Nadira’s powerful and expressive vocals, skillful songwriting and soulful poetry. Soul, R&B and jazz genres are widely explored on the project. Presently there’s a SoundCloud sampler where fans can listen to a full song (entitled “Flight of the Hummingbird,”) and three snippets off of the album. Sampler Link Here.
The production and musicianship of the album is credited to Samuel Archer [B2K, 112, Courtney Fadlin, Lovener Walcott] who met Nadira in 2013 and since then collaborated with Nadira to produce the Double A Side projects, a documentary expressing her upbringing in Philadelphia and now her forthcoming debut album. Musicians featured on the album are - Benny Barksdale Jr. on Saxophone, Ian Chance on Bass and Rod Harris on acoustic/electric guitars.
